EA Reveals Wii Exclusive Music Game, Boogie

While the rest of the world fumbles to kick start Wii games, in 2007 alone, Electronic Arts has already shipped a Wii-centric take on the SSX series and announced a new music and rhythm title, the simply titled Boogie. The uniquely styled beat bouncer will have players up and grooving with their wireless remotes in hand -- and singing, too.

...and we really don't know much other than that. The screen shots (thanks, To The Game) suggest the nunchuck is the primary controller, though advanced mechanics could call for waving two hands around simultaneously. You'll be able to record music videos that combine your singing and dancing skills, and, consequently, Boogie should be shipping with a microphone add-on when it arrives later this year.

Much of EA's emphasis so far is on the creation and customization of Boogie music videos -- will we have a chance to share them via Wi-Fi with friends when it ships?
