with you on that one.. 4 is most likely for ssx.. though a blue-white version would kinda suit the new theme better..

Gondee, I have a little question now that FBX isn't here who is going to create the the texture of the board in 3D for the winner? Are you going to do it? I don't think EA would just accept some Photoshop pics of the board, that would be way to much work for them. So not to take a chance I say that somebody who knows how to use the Studio Max should make a 3D skin for the winning board before sending it.

I picked number nine, cause that's just sooo awesome. I like the green mixture and BTW this is a board that would be possible to add to the game. :yes

I don't see what's so awe-inspiring about board 9. It seriously just looks like a bunch of grass on the right side with merqurycity.com in a pretty plain font.

Board 1 and 3 were my favorites.

I don't know - if someone who is good at 3D studio max wants to do it, great. I'm gonna notify my contact, attach the winning picture file to the e-mail and give her the link to the topics about this. There's not much else I can do.

It may be that a texture file at 72 dpi (web standards) isn't good enough for a texture file for the game, either. There are a lot of details to worry about - but let's let EA notify us of those if they agree to do this, which is still up in the air (and iffy.)

hey! i can make the file.
.psd (photoshop document) or .tiff (tagged image file format) or .tga (targa) or anything. even a .jpg (joint picture group) with lowest compression (=highest quality) will work. resolution should be at least 800x200 pixels. your tv has a resolution of 720 pixel horizontally. ea can re-calculate the image DOWN to their desired format/resolution. they can handle .tiff for sure. i need the workfiles from the winner. we do not know the exact proportions of the board, so we need to send the 2d-texturefile only, not mapped to a board. 3dsmax or any other 3d-app is definitely not needed. if there are no hi-res source-files, i will see what i can do without simply blowing up the image, this wont increase the technical quality. </dan>

ps: while the poll is not over, there seems to be a winning design. i like our decision. :cheers

Bout time this poll got started. Got worried I would move and not see the winning design even though 9 is gonna win lol no point on continuing the poll. But this pic looks awesome lets hope it gets in the game.

Oh wait, royank if you can make one final correction. It's nothing huge just put merqurycity.com because some people are going to be stupid and not know what it means and the whole point of this board is to attract players to our fan site.

BTW, damn dan that pic looks so good. I think ea will put this board into the game if Gspot can give them proper reasons. Like the fact that this site has so many buyers for this game and other shit like that.

Board 3....why.......
it's the one I can see that looks most natural considering the past boards in the game. Doesn't look amaturely photoshoped to me. I like 1 but how likely is hybrid's Finished Symphony gonna be in the game again......unless we can find out from DeeCee (who I haven't seen in a long time) and get her to ask johnny morgan.

3 sucks it looks like evry fucking moron with PS could do it..i mean it's like 3 layers ..1 the backboard..2 - some texture found with google and 3 the words..pffft

6 is awsome..it look's soo snowish..and almost a pure snowobard design..though stuff like this mostly on the uper deck..no text also and the slide side is black..or other blank color...
