Good point, but look closely: the board trails indicate that he's doing one of the more animated ubers. I forgot the uber names, but I think he's doing Viggo's signature uber. Also notice that he's high up in the air, as you can see the point icons (you don't get that much air when doing the 4 lvl1 ubers). Here's the character in the background of the Perp picture:

Upon further inspection, it looks like those point icons in the Perp picture are the purple/black 10k ones, which are located only in the upper pipes. That means the guy is not using the middle pipe.

But that was early on in the game. The likelihood of someone -- of the very few people who still play the game -- finding something new, at this point in the game's age, after so much has already been found, that can yield those scores, is very low.

Well, in that case he might just have played until he beat the WRs, and coincidentally beat all 3 of them by about the same amount.

gondee, you saw how easy it is to edit a picture. It took me literally less than 2 minutes, and the image is lossless -- do you see any signs of editing? Now imagine what you can do with a more advanced program than MSPaint, with more time and with lossy compression... Anyone with a minimum of knowledge in the field can do it.

And yet that guy apparently messed up slightly on the Perp picture, and didn't think about the background. We could call the Perp picture the "smoking gun" -- he's doing a regular uber on the upper pipes, and the picture itself has signs of editing. Not that all this was needed, at all, to know that he's lying, though.

I'm guessing another reason why he didn't want to post the top 5 records screen is because he would then have to edit all of those scores too. :heh

We should go to the forum and post, just something that would easily weed him out as a liar. Something like "can you post the top 5 records screen for your pipe scores".

Of course...this is all assuming he didn't accidentally delete his memory card save...

Guys, maybe one of you noticed it already, but in SSX3 it's impossible to get
4 points.

The least ammount of points you can get is 10, and nothing smaller.
every trick has a 0 as the last number, also the scores.

That means that it's facked for sure, a good fake, but too little knowledge to the facts.

Edit: Yeah, with combos you can finish anywhere between 0-9.

The top literal score for Perp is around 5.5. Take at look at my 5.37. Instead of the first long X-X, one can do a shorter X-X and then have time to squeeze in another X-X. It's possible but not worth my investment (maybe eventually but certainly not right now). That would give you another 80-100K tops (also if you did low air x-x and never did any x-sa-sa).

And if this guy is for real all he has to do is take another photo of the top 5 score. No way he hit 5.6 on his first try as not many can do my low air x-x (I think only igloo, ice and re can).

You guys have convinced me, he's just a photoshop artist I suppose. If not, then he'd have come here to master the game as every single awesome player has showed up here eventually.

Video evidence is the best way to legitametly verify a score. Cyberscore doesn't require any of that.This is why I don't put much credibility in their records. Anyone who wants to compete at a game for breaking "World Records" should be willing to go out and buy some sort of video capturing device. I think it should be the only way a score can be accepted.

Early jump X-SA, that was. Early jump X-X is far, far more difficult, and it MrChaos that found it and mastered it. That 5.37 run still impresses me. I don't think you ever tried that method, BD, did you?
