Okay guys, we're live! The scoreboard is active and working as far as I can tell and the forum is upgraded to the new version!

There will probably be 1001 little things that I have to change or can change to make it more like the old Gravitude Bar. So if there's something you don't like and want changed, let me know and I'll see what can be done. I've tried to make it the most like the old Gravitude Bar as possible, minus some small things.

The Arcade and Knowledge Base are not installed yet, and the search isn't working either. I will reinstall the search tables by Monday, and I'll try to have the arcade up in a week or two. I'm sorry to say we lost the scores, but that couldn't be helped.

the only thing i see so far, at least for me, is that on the ssx theme, the index forum icons are compressed and shrunk.

Everything looks shrunk.

The only things I don't like are the black lines going through the navy blue posts.

but I'll get used to it I guess.

It should be. I'll get back to you on that in a day or two. :)

Just as a reminder, these are the hacks I have on the list to install:

  • Arcade
  • Gravitude Chat
  • Knowledge Base
  • XBL, PSN, Wii profile fields and buttons

A lot of the other stuff is on the board already. There is a profile field for your Custom Title already in place, so go onto your profile and input it! :D

:lol No way baka, the SSX theme is practically the same. :poke

And I'm going to install some missing BBcodes here shortly. Just remember that I have to run a script to get our board to "recognize" old BBcodes, so until I do that, anything that we added outside of the default phpbb2 install won't render as HTML. :china

:lol No, some of the font sizes are different, but dude, you'll get used to it, trust me. I promise it won't be that bad. *pats baka on top of head*

Don't worry guys, you'll see how awesome this board will be in a few weeks once I get everything up and running. We'll have 4-5 different video BBCodes by tonight. We will be able to post vids from IGN, Gamespot, etc. :D

edit: when you look at the online list, the column titles are in birhgt orange. if it matters. i'm still waiting for user colors. :P :glare :lol

No, it's just that particular code tag since the URL is so long. Normal ones will fit on the page just fine.

Yeah, I worked my ass off to make sure it was as close to normal as possible, with tweaking the themes so much. You'll get used to it guys, and I'm sure you'll not even think about it later. There's a lot of stuff that bugs me too, the posting screen is really long, Khalpz is right, there are a lot of lines on the 'blue posts' on the Grav theme, etc and so forth, but overall I'm sure I'll get used to it. To me all that minor stuff is small fries until you get to the stuff you CAN do, like multi-choice polls, PMing more than 1 person at a time (up to 5 -- or more if you can convince me otherwise), extra stuff like the Print Topic option, so awesome and such an upgrade from our last board.

:lol :lol You and those colors. :D I may change it but that's pretty far down on the list there vixie. :D What do you think about posting IGN and Gamespot vids? :D

That's a good idea. I'll add something into the header that will only display if you're logged in, and it will also show if you have some PMs too. :)

Okay, I fixed the "long posting screen" by reducing the smilies on the posting screen to what we had in the old forum. I also added a link to the UCP and a notice about PMs in the Grav Header that you'll only see if you're logged in. :)

Also added in XBL, PSN and Wii friend code profile fields. I will add in the buttons for them in a few days.

It funny, everything is pretty much the same. But everything also looks completely modernized.

Can you install the hack where if you mouseover on a topic, the topic text pops up on screen? I've always wanted that hack. It makes any forum better.
