Ryan Davis passed away on July 3rd. He was 34.

Shocking and terrible news today. Co-founder of Giant Bomb, formerly of GameSpot. Great great guy, this is just awful. May remember him from either Quick Look of SSX.

yeah i heard about that, it's pretty saddening plus he was actually a really funny dude i remember watching him try to play Babysitting Mama and it was hilarious

Apparently he had been married less than a week before he died. He died on his honeymoon.

You know, I've only seen the guy from his preview of SSX. But I must have watched that thing 25 times before the game came out. He asked intelligent questions, and had a biting wit that never made you feel like he had anything but love for you.
