What’s the point of traveling the world and conquering it’s mountains if you have nothing to show for it? Well don’t worry snowboarders, when you hit the slopes of SSX you’ll be able to earn yourself a slew of different badges.

• Badges you can earn are split into eight categories with challenges divided between: SSX’s three main game modes – World Tour, Explore and Global Events; the three pillars of gameplay – Race It, Trick It, Survive It; plus a Gear, and an Air & Trick category.

• Challenges in SSX have three levels of difficulty associated with them and completing a challenge at each level, will earn you Bronze, Silver or Gold Badges. An example of a Badge in the Explore category is ‘Are We Still Friends’ – Beat 25 Friends’ Records. In total, there are 177 Badges in the Game.

• Earning all levels of specific Badges will award the player Xbox Achievements or PlayStation Trophies, depending on what console you’re playing SSX on. One example is ‘The Gold Finish’ – Collect all Gold Race Badges.

But during your runs you’ll not only be trying to earn badges, but will also be trying to check off bonuses in the Drop Bonus System in Explore and World Tour. An example of a Drop Bonus is ‘Combo Chain’ – perform a 70 trick combo. Drop Bonuses can be achieved over and over again and are awarded at the end of each run. If completed, players are rewarded with SSX Credits calculated by tallying the top three most valuable Drop Bonuses achieved per run.

"Knock down 2 opponents in a run" This is the first time I hear that we can knock down other riders. Nice.

Seem like Knockdowns are back lol.. Nothing is better than slapping down a opponent lol

I think we've known about knockdowns for a while now, they're only present in World Tour mode I believe.

Wow, that list is massive :woot

I didnt think they would have knockdowns (they were hesitant) but im glad they decided to add it. I gave them a unique idea for knockdowns so im excited to see if they included it.

I really don't understand the point of knockdowns if they only use it for campaign, unless if there's replayability to campaign? Connor kept saying it was just a tutorial in a sense, so...

They really need Custom offline races against AIs that have knockdowns in it...

I think you can slam into AI riders and knock them over but you can't take a swing at them.

I never kept track but I wonder how much spinning we could do on Big Airs in SSX 3. Or on race jumps with the "trick boost."

Yeah, how are you supposed to knockdown 25 riders unless it's available in a mode other than World Tour?

Its not like knocking down 25 players in one event, its like a tally overall.
