Players are being asked not to submit Scores & Times where they have used Codes, Cheats or Glitches to set a New Record. The SSX 3 Scoreboard DOES accept Records achieved with codes, but when submitting all Players will be asked to declare if they have used the any codes.

For Race Mode - Most techniques for gaining advantages in race mode are allowed. For example, using "Start Up Boost" is allowed if you have boost at the start of the race, such as in Conquer the Mountain mode. Additionally, Reset shortcuts (a.k.a. "Select Tricks") are also allowed. Glitch shortcuts, though none are known at this point, are allowed as well, although Merqurycity.com would ask that you didn't send in scores using Glitch shortcuts, as they are not in the "spirit" of competion.

BANNED: Techniques that are banned and will void any score using them are: any of the "infinite boost" or other special options you can use in Single Player mode. Any Cheat Devices such as Gameshark and Action Replay are NOT allowed.

Video proof for scores may be required if Scoreboard Administrators have questions about your score. Therefore, always have a VALID E-mail address when submitting scores. All screenshots accepted for proof must be of the "Top 5 Records" screen and not the "Heat" Track score screen.

For Race Mode & Freestyle Mode - The use of the "Select Trick" (or Auto Reset) is acceptable.

BANNED: The use of any "Falling Glitch" or "Glitch Shortcut". (I.E.: Any Graphical Glitch that would let a Player run through solid objects during a Race. The "Falling Through World Glitch" or any other Graphical Glitch that would let a Player accumulate massive amount of points without being on Track during Showoff.)
